As a Serbian-born, London-based artist, I am interested in exploring the meanings that emerge at the crossroads of conflicting cultures, identities, memories, truths and forms of belonging, which a geopolitical migrant striving to find some 'inner balance' must inevitably come to terms. The print 'Equilibrium' implies a game of doing and undoing, seeing and unseeing-whether that might have to do with politics, societal transformations, or more personal issues related to her 'double' existence as a migrant.
