Wells Art Contemporary 2024 will be open every day between 3 - 31 August 2024 at Wells Cathedral, the first Gothic cathedral in England.

As well as a white wall gallery on three sides of the Cloisters there are amazing site-specific art installations around and outside of the building.

The Cathedral is open from 9am to 4.30pm seven days a week.  Please be aware that it is a working building.  If you are planning to visit, note that parts of the building (and therefore some of the artwork installations) are not accessible during the Cathedral’s public services - see here for timings.

From 22nd April Wells Cathedral will be charging for admission to raise the £4,500 a day it costs to keep this historic and beautiful building open to all. Entry will be free for under 18’s and local residents.
