My practice explores the emotional, psychological and social dimensions of human experience through realism and detailed charcoal drawing. I am interested in how perception shapes our understanding of identity, connection and the environments around us. My background in architecture influences my approach, bringing an understanding of structure, composition, space and material into my work. I use the slow, meticulous process of charcoal to examine details that can often be overlooked, translating observations and ideas into carefully constructed visual narratives. Through this process, I explore how patient observation can transform into meaningful creation, connecting what is seen with what is made.
