When the tides turn, seaweed, shells, and driftwood form lines along the shore known as ‘wrack lines’. In 'Beneath the Wrack' these lines are thresholds in time, quiet markers of where the sea was and where it will be again. This series lingers in these intervals between tides to savour the unique impressions made by the retreating water. It's both a celebration of the overlooked beauty beneath our feet, and a meditation on impermanence. The images reflect how nature, unsentimental and tireless, creates and dismantles without pause, while positioning the viewer as a temporary witness to its beautiful, unending work.
