Andrei Mocanu works with objects that have already had a life inside someone else's system, or were built to have one. The vessels are urns, made to hold what remains of a person. The radiating elements are plucking fingers, made for industrial machines that strip feathers from birds. The result is an object one cannot get close to. The works are quiet, even austere in their monochrome or restricted palette and compact scale, but the collision they enact (between tenderness and industry, the devotional and the mechanical) remains active throughout.
Please note that delivery is not included in the price. Delivery costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. The delivery method and payment will be arranged with Parker Harris after purchase, and Parker Harris will contact all buyers once their purchase is complete. Buyers will not receive the work until after the exhibition at Wells Cathedral closes on Saturday 7 November 2026. Works can be collected from Wells Cathedral on Sunday 8 or Monday 9 November 2026, 9.30am–4.30pm.
