Embroidery on Perspex
250 x 200 cm
Pattern 2.0 Wall holds two temporal states: a complete pattern and one in transition, echoing St Augustine’s paradox of time. Seen from the cloisters, the Perspex sits like a gentle fold in the geometry, its transparency offering several visual moments at once. Up close, the pattern first reads as unified before the emerging and fading sides separate, giving a physical sense of time as layered rather than linear. The installation shifts this overlooked end of the cloisters from a functional junction into a small moment of temporal contemplation.
Please note that delivery is not included in the price. Delivery costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. The delivery method and payment will be arranged with Parker Harris after purchase, and Parker Harris will contact all buyers once their purchase is complete. Buyers will not receive the work until after the exhibition at Wells Cathedral closes on Saturday 7 November 2026. Works can be collected from Wells Cathedral on Sunday 8 or Monday 9 November 2026, 9.30am–4.30pm.
