Y3. Isobel Kidd - Living Water

£12,000.00

Portland snowcrete and sawdust, known as Anthrolite

240 x 80 x 110 cm

Living Water responds to For What Is Time? by bringing together geological, historical and spiritual time within a single monumental vessel. Inspired by the hidden water infrastructures beneath sacred places, the sculpture explores water as a repository of memory, renewal and belief. Constructed from Portland snowcrete and sawdust, this work echoes the material language of architecture while remaining unmistakably contemporary. The vessel becomes both an archaeological presence and a symbolic form, inviting reflection on the relationships between landscape, faith and human experience. Rather than presenting time as a linear progression, Living Water reveals it as layered, enduring and continually renewed.

Please note that delivery is not included in the price. Delivery costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. The delivery method and payment will be arranged with Parker Harris after purchase, and Parker Harris will contact all buyers once their purchase is complete. Buyers will not receive the work until after the exhibition at Wells Cathedral closes on Saturday 7 November 2026. Works can be collected from Wells Cathedral on Sunday 8 or Monday 9 November 2026, 9.30am–4.30pm.
