C2. Gail Theis - Passages

£12,500.00

Cotton fabric and thread made using Willyne Hammerstein's templates from her Millefiori series

270 x 200 cm

For millennia, humanity has looked towards the night sky in search of meaning, orientation, and connection. The star-shaped vaulting of the Lady Chapel and its fragmented stained-glass windows, provides a powerful architectural expression of this enduring impulse. Similarly, Passages is constructed from innumerable individual elements whose cumulative presence speaks to resilience, continuity, and the passage of time.

Please note that delivery is not included in the price. Delivery costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. The delivery method and payment will be arranged with Parker Harris after purchase, and Parker Harris will contact all buyers once their purchase is complete. Buyers will not receive the work until after the exhibition at Wells Cathedral closes on Saturday 7 November 2026. Works can be collected from Wells Cathedral on Sunday 8 or Monday 9 November 2026, 9.30am–4.30pm.
