Fibreglass
230 x 330 x 180 cm
'Since the folklore and mythology of prehistory birds have acted as mystical intermediaries between the mortal boundaries of the land and the spiritual realm of the sky. We have come from the water and dream of the sky. Birds are the bridge, symbols of transition. These works are as we are, between the petal and bone, life and death. Historically, the production of iconography has not been formalist but can be seen as an offering of skill, energy and time to a higher power. These birds are my offerings.'
Please note that delivery is not included in the price. Delivery costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. The delivery method and payment will be arranged with Parker Harris after purchase, and Parker Harris will contact all buyers once their purchase is complete. Buyers will not receive the work until after the exhibition at Wells Cathedral closes on Saturday 7 November 2026. Works can be collected from Wells Cathedral on Sunday 8 or Monday 9 November 2026, 9.30am–4.30pm.
